The City of Cordova Streets Division will temporarily close a portion of Railroad Avenue and Council Avenue in both directions on Monday, July 28, 2025, to perform chip seal repair work.

This work is weather dependent. If the weather does not allow for chip seal application, we will notify the public with updated dates.

Due to the high traffic volume in this area, the road will remain closed for two additional days after the work is complete to allow the chip seal surface to properly bond and cure.
