As per the moorage/service agreement: The vessel Owner shall maintain in effect during the term of this Agreement liability insurance covering Owner’s employees, invitees, and passengers, and covering damage to Harbor property and other vessels and facilities by the operation of the Vessel.

It is mandatory for vessels carrying passengers for hire to have liability insurance that covers bodily injury, including death, in an amount not less than $100,000 per person, $300,000 combined single limit per occurrence (including property damage).

Furthermore, all necessary liability insurance policies must name the City of Cordova as an additional insured with a waiver of subrogation.

All required liability insurance policies shall name the City of Cordova as an additional insured with a waiver of subrogation.

Proof of insurance will be required before any services or use of facilities is permitted. We accept paper copies of your policy, or you may email the documentation to harbor@cityofcordova.net.

Non-compliance with the insurance requirements will lead to denial of services, and a daily fee of $50.00 will be imposed if the vessel remains within the Port of Cordova’s Facilities until valid proof of insurance is provided.

Please refer to City Code for detailed information on the regulations and requirements that must be followed within the Port of Cordova.

By following these regulations and requirements, all parties can ensure a safe and compliant operation within the Port of Cordova.
