Community Forum on Substance Abuse
Please join us Tuesday, July 20th, 5:30-7:00 PM, at the Cordova Center Theater for a Community Forum on Substance Abuse.
All perspectives welcomed.
Panelists will include local providers, responders, and advocates: Barb Jewell, Nate Taylor, Hannah Sanders, Susan Powell, Brian Iutzi, and Sarah Kathrein. Discussion will be moderated by City Manager Helen Howarth.
This forum is intended to be the start of a larger discussion about the outsized impact of drugs and alcohol in Cordova, and what each of us can do to help our friends, family, and neighbors. Panelists will make introductory remarks, then the floor will be opened to audience feedback and questions.
Children under 16 are not recommended to attend. Programmed childcare will be provided. Masks available at the door.
