Copper River Basin Area Plan Informational Meeting
July 6th 5:30PM to 7:30PM

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water, Resources Assessment and Development Section has initiated the planning process to update the Copper River Basin Area Plan (CRBAP). The existing plan was adopted in 1986, and an update is necessary to incorporate new or updated resource information, account for changes in land ownership, and to reflect current and anticipated changes to physical, environmental, economic and social factors in the area.
This plan will address the management of approximately 3.3 million acres of general state lands and waters within the plan boundary.

This is the only opportunity for Cordovan’s to ask questions and state their concerns directly to the DNR.
