January 31, 2022 is the deadline to apply for your property tax exemption with the City of Cordova. To be eligible residents must be 65 years of age or older before January 1, 2022 or a disabled veteran rated at 50% or greater disability. The One-Time application for property tax exemption can be picked up at City Hall or from the city website at www.cityofcordova.net. Return the application to City Hall by January 31, 2022 or mail it to the Deputy Clerk at PO Box 1210, Cordova, AK 99574. Exemptions are good until property or person no longer qualifies.
